Terms of service
JustGoodKit Australia
Effective date: 27 October 2026
Website: https://justgoodkit.com.au
1. Introduction
Welcome to JustGoodKit Australia.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products and services.
JustGoodKit Australia ("JustGoodKit", "we", "us" or "our") is an Australian-owned online retailer specialising in tactical equipment, outdoor gear, everyday carry products, bags, accessories and related products.
Our online store is operated using the Shopify ecommerce platform.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms, together with any additional policies expressly referenced during your purchase.
Please read these Terms before purchasing.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are important to us. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
2. Business Information
JustGoodKit Australia operates through the website:
Our business details are:
- Trading name: JustGoodKit
- Legal entity: JustGoodKit
- Australian Business Number (ABN): 44 950 211 946
- Business location: New South Wales, Australia
- Customer service email: adam@JustGoogKit.com.au
- Business or correspondence address: PO Box 2169, Green Hills, NSW, Australia 2323.
Customers can contact us using the Contact Us page on our website.
We aim to respond to customer enquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
3. Eligibility and Website Use
Our website is intended for customers who are legally capable of entering into a purchase agreement.
If you are under 18 years of age, you should obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before making a purchase.
Certain products may be subject to age, licensing, possession, import or other legal restrictions. Where applicable, customers must comply with relevant laws.
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Engage in unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activity.
- Interfere with the security or normal operation of the website.
- Introduce malicious software or harmful code.
- Access accounts or information without authorisation.
- Infringe intellectual property rights.
- Use our website in a manner that infringes the rights of others.
We may reasonably restrict access to our website where necessary to prevent fraud, protect security, comply with the law or address a material breach of these Terms.
Any restriction will be exercised consistently with applicable legal requirements and will not remove rights relating to an existing purchase.
4. Products and Descriptions
JustGoodKit sells tactical, outdoor, everyday carry and related equipment.
Some products are developed, branded or stocked directly by JustGoodKit. Other products are sourced from external manufacturers, distributors or third-party suppliers.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, measurements, photographs and prices are accurate and sufficiently detailed to support informed purchasing decisions.
Product images and colours
Product images are intended to represent the goods being sold.
Colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting and manufacturing variations.
Such differences do not limit any rights a customer may have where a product materially differs from its description, sample or other applicable consumer guarantees.
Product specifications
Products may be subject to manufacturing updates or design changes.
Where a material change affects an outstanding order, we will notify the customer and provide appropriate options, including cancellation and a refund where required.
We will not knowingly substitute a materially different product without the customer's agreement.
Product availability
All orders are subject to product availability.
An item displayed as available may occasionally become unavailable because of an inventory discrepancy, supplier stock change or other genuine availability issue.
Where we cannot supply an ordered product within the agreed timeframe, or within a reasonable timeframe where none was agreed, we will contact the customer, explain the available options and provide a refund where required by law.
5. Pricing, GST and Payment
All prices displayed on our Australian website are in Australian dollars (AUD), unless clearly stated otherwise.
Prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.
Any additional delivery charges or other compulsory charges will be disclosed before the customer places an order.
The total amount payable will be displayed at checkout.
Price changes
We may change advertised prices from time to time.
Price changes will not retrospectively alter the agreed price of an accepted order without the customer's agreement.
Pricing errors
Despite reasonable care, an incorrect price may occasionally appear on our website.
If we identify an obvious pricing error before accepting an order, we may correct the error and invite the customer to proceed at the corrected price.
If an error is identified after an order has been accepted, we will contact the customer and seek an appropriate resolution consistent with applicable law.
We will not impose additional charges without the customer's agreement.
If an order is lawfully cancelled because of a pricing error, any payment received for the cancelled goods will be refunded.
Payment methods
Payment methods available at checkout may include payment cards, electronic payment services and third-party payment providers.
Payments are processed through Shopify and other payment providers made available during checkout.
Any separate payment provider terms will be disclosed or made accessible through the relevant provider.
We do not require customers to provide their full payment card details to us by email.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected goods at the price and on the conditions displayed at checkout.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that your order has been received. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
An order is accepted when we expressly confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first.
We may decline an order before acceptance where there are reasonable grounds, including:
- A genuine stock or supply problem.
- An obvious pricing or listing error.
- Suspected fraud or unauthorised payment.
- A legal restriction affecting supply.
- An inability to deliver to the nominated address.
- A material error in the information necessary to fulfil the order.
If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the payment for the affected goods and any associated delivery charge that is no longer applicable.
Once an order has been accepted, any cancellation or change will be dealt with under these Terms and applicable law.
7. Order Changes and Customer Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests before an order has been dispatched or committed to fulfilment.
However, an order may already be undergoing processing, packing or dispatch.
Where a customer requests cancellation for a change of mind, and there is no statutory cancellation right, cancellation is subject to our agreement and any applicable Returns and Refunds Policy.
We will explain any reasonable, non-recoverable costs that apply before agreeing to a discretionary cancellation involving such costs.
Nothing in this section affects a customer's right to cancel an order or obtain a remedy where required by Australian Consumer Law.
8. Delivery and Shipping
JustGoodKit delivers products to the destinations made available at checkout.
Delivery availability, charges and estimated timeframes may depend on the product, destination, stock location and carrier.
Dispatch locations
Products may be dispatched from:
- JustGoodKit-controlled stock locations in Australia.
- Australian manufacturers, distributors or fulfilment partners.
- Overseas manufacturers, distributors or fulfilment partners.
Some orders may arrive in separate shipments.
Where a product is dispatched internationally, this may affect the estimated delivery timeframe.
Delivery estimates
Any delivery estimate provided is based on the information reasonably available at the time of purchase.
We will take reasonable steps to arrange delivery within the agreed timeframe or, where no timeframe has been agreed, within a reasonable period.
If a material delay occurs, we will provide information about the delay and available options.
We are not responsible for delays caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control where we have complied with our legal and contractual obligations.
This does not affect any right to cancel or obtain a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Shipping charges
Shipping costs, including any available free-shipping offer, are calculated or disclosed before checkout is completed.
Free shipping may be subject to clearly disclosed conditions such as eligible products, order values or delivery destinations.
Incorrect delivery information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery details.
If an order cannot be delivered because the customer provided materially incorrect or incomplete information, reasonable additional delivery charges may apply where the customer requests redelivery.
We will explain any additional charges before proceeding.
Lost or damaged deliveries
If an order is lost, materially delayed or arrives damaged, please contact JustGoodKit.
We will investigate the matter and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Where we arrange delivery, customers are not required to resolve a loss or damage claim directly with the courier before contacting us for assistance.
Any statutory rights remain unaffected by arrangements with delivery providers.
9. Australian Consumer Guarantees
Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
These guarantees may include requirements that goods:
- Are of acceptable quality.
- Are safe and durable, having regard to the applicable circumstances.
- Are fit for their commonly supplied purposes.
- Are fit for any particular purpose disclosed to us where the relevant consumer guarantee applies.
- Match their description.
- Correspond with any sample or demonstration model.
- Comply with applicable express warranties.
- Have other protections required by Australian Consumer Law.
Major failures
Where goods have a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, the consumer is generally entitled to choose a refund or replacement and may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Minor failures
Where a failure is not major and can be remedied, we may initially choose an appropriate remedy, such as repair, replacement or refund, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If we do not remedy the problem within a reasonable time, further rights may become available to the customer.
Consumer rights cannot be excluded
Nothing in these Terms or any separate store policy limits the remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
These protections apply to eligible purchases whether products are stocked by JustGoodKit, supplied by Australian distributors or fulfilled through third-party dropshipping arrangements.
Customers should contact JustGoodKit directly regarding concerns about products purchased from our store.
10. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
We want customers to receive products that are accurately described, fit for their intended purposes and compliant with Australian Consumer Law.
Our separate Returns and Refunds Policy provides additional information about requesting returns, exchanges and refunds.
Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, please contact us.
We may request reasonable supporting information, such as:
- An order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Photographs where relevant.
- Proof of purchase.
Customers do not necessarily need the original packaging to exercise their statutory consumer rights.
We may reasonably inspect or assess a product before determining the applicable remedy.
Return shipping for faulty goods
Where the law requires JustGoodKit to bear reasonable costs associated with returning goods that fail to meet a consumer guarantee, we will do so.
Where appropriate, we may provide a prepaid return label, arrange collection or reimburse reasonable return expenses.
Special arrangements may apply to goods that cannot reasonably be returned because of their size, weight or the nature of the defect.
Change-of-mind returns
Australian Consumer Law does not generally require retailers to provide refunds or exchanges simply because a customer changes their mind.
Any change-of-mind return offered by JustGoodKit is a discretionary benefit subject to the conditions clearly stated in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
For discretionary change-of-mind returns, we may require that goods are:
- Unused and in resaleable condition.
- Returned with their original packaging and accessories, where reasonably required by the policy.
- Returned within the period specified in the policy.
- Accompanied by proof of purchase.
Unless we agree otherwise, customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods for a change of mind.
Where a customer requests a replacement item for a change-of-mind exchange, additional shipping charges may apply.
These conditions do not apply in a way that restricts statutory consumer guarantees.
Refund processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where practicable, or another mutually agreed method.
We will process refunds within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable law.
Banking and payment providers may require additional time to make funds available.
11. Dropshipped and Third-Party Fulfilled Products
JustGoodKit works with selected external suppliers to provide a wider range of products.
Some products are dispatched directly from third-party warehouses or manufacturers rather than a JustGoodKit stock location.
Responsibility for customer orders
Where JustGoodKit is the retailer selling the product, JustGoodKit remains responsible for its applicable obligations to the customer under Australian Consumer Law.
Customers are not required to pursue a manufacturer or dropshipping supplier directly to obtain a remedy that JustGoodKit is legally required to provide.
Supplier availability
Third-party stock availability may change without notice.
If a supplier cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will contact the customer and provide appropriate options.
Delivery and packaging
Dropshipped goods may:
- Be dispatched separately from other items.
- Arrive in supplier-specific packaging.
- Have different estimated delivery timeframes.
- Be shipped from Australian or overseas locations.
Applicable delivery information will be disclosed before purchase where required and reasonably available.
Manufacturer warranties
Some products include manufacturer warranties.
These warranties may provide additional benefits and do not replace or reduce rights under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Product Safety and Responsible Use
Products sold by JustGoodKit may be intended for outdoor, tactical, camping, hiking, fieldwork or other specialised activities.
Customers should read and follow any relevant product instructions, warnings, weight limits, maintenance requirements and safety information.
Products should only be used for their intended and lawful purposes.
Certain activities, including outdoor recreation and the use of specialised equipment, may involve inherent risks.
Customers should exercise appropriate care, skill and judgment when selecting and using products.
Any statements about recommended product use are subject to the actual product specifications and applicable law.
Nothing in this section excludes or reduces JustGoodKit's obligations concerning product safety, acceptable quality, fitness for purpose or other applicable consumer guarantees.
13. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may contain links to external websites or use services provided by third parties.
These may include:
- Payment processing services.
- Delivery and tracking providers.
- Product review platforms.
- Website analytics services.
- Customer support applications.
- Social media platforms.
- Other ecommerce support services.
We do not control the content, availability or practices of independent external websites.
Customers who voluntarily access an independent third-party website should review its applicable terms and policies.
However, JustGoodKit remains responsible for its own legal obligations and cannot avoid those obligations solely because a third-party provider is involved.
Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies available under applicable Australian law.
14. Privacy and Information Security
We respect the privacy of our customers and take the protection of personal information seriously.
Personal information may be collected and used for purposes including:
- Processing and fulfilling orders.
- Providing customer service.
- Delivering goods.
- Processing payments and refunds.
- Preventing fraud.
- Maintaining website functionality and security.
- Meeting legal and record-keeping obligations.
- Sending marketing communications where permitted.
We may use appropriate third-party providers to carry out these activities.
Our Privacy Policy explains our information-handling practices, including relevant disclosures to service providers and any applicable overseas handling arrangements.
We take reasonable security measures appropriate to the information we handle and the nature of our operations.
Although no online service can guarantee absolute security, we will comply with applicable legal obligations concerning privacy and information security.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable obligations relating to personal information or security incidents.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.
15. Email and SMS Communications
Transactional communications
We may send customers communications reasonably necessary to process and manage their orders, including:
- Order confirmations.
- Payment notifications.
- Shipping updates.
- Delivery information.
- Customer service correspondence.
- Refund and return updates.
Transactional communications that are not commercial electronic messages may be sent as necessary to administer an order.
Marketing communications
We may send promotional emails, SMS messages and other commercial electronic communications where we have the recipient's consent or are otherwise legally permitted to do so.
Marketing communications may include:
- New product announcements.
- Promotions and special offers.
- Product updates.
- Relevant customer offers.
- Promotional reminders, including abandoned checkout messages where legally permitted.
We will comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and other applicable laws.
Marketing messages will identify the sender and provide an appropriate means of unsubscribing.
Unsubscribing
Customers may withdraw their marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe instructions provided in the message or by contacting us.
We will action valid unsubscribe requests within five working days, or any shorter period required by law.
We will not charge a fee for unsubscribing.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not necessarily prevent necessary non-promotional communications about an existing order.
Consent to receive marketing is not a condition of purchasing products from JustGoodKit.
16. Customer Accounts
Customers may be able to create an account to manage their orders and personal information.
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect their account credentials.
Please contact us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We may temporarily restrict account access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, protect account security or comply with the law.
Any such restriction will not remove statutory rights relating to an existing purchase.
Customers may request account closure using our published contact details.
Account closure may not result in the immediate deletion of all associated information where retention is reasonably necessary or legally required.
17. Customer Reviews and Submissions
Customers may submit product reviews, feedback, photographs or other content through our website or approved communication channels.
By submitting content for publication, you confirm that:
- You are entitled to submit it.
- The content is not knowingly false or misleading.
- It does not unlawfully infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- It does not contain unlawful material.
You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your content.
Where you submit content for publication on our website, you grant JustGoodKit a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display and use that content for the purpose for which it was submitted, including displaying relevant product reviews and feedback.
Any broader promotional use of an identifiable customer's photograph, testimonial or personal information will be subject to applicable law and any necessary permissions.
We may reasonably moderate or remove unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, spam or otherwise inappropriate content.
We do not promise to publish every submission.
Any use of customer information will remain subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
18. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content displayed on our website is owned by JustGoodKit or used with permission from the relevant rights holder.
This may include:
- Business names, logos and branding.
- Product photography.
- Product designs and original descriptions.
- Website text and graphics.
- Videos and promotional material.
- Other original creative content.
Customers may use website content for ordinary personal shopping and information purposes.
Commercial reproduction, redistribution or exploitation of protected content generally requires prior permission from the relevant rights holder, unless otherwise authorised by law.
Nothing in these Terms restricts uses permitted by applicable intellectual property legislation.
19. Website Availability and Technical Errors
We take reasonable steps to maintain the availability, functionality and security of our website.
However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, network problems, cybersecurity incidents or other circumstances.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website access.
We may temporarily suspend access where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or legal compliance.
We will not be responsible for website interruptions to the extent that liability may lawfully be excluded and we have not breached any applicable duty or obligation.
Nothing in this section removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies:
- Any applicable Australian Consumer Guarantee.
- Any consumer right or remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
- Any other mandatory right or protection under applicable Australian law.
Subject to these rights, JustGoodKit is not responsible for loss or damage arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control where we have not breached any applicable contractual or legal obligation.
We do not seek to exclude responsibility for our own unlawful conduct, breach of applicable consumer guarantees or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Any limitation of liability in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law.
21. Fraud, Misuse and Prohibited Conduct
We may take reasonable steps to protect customers, our business and third parties from fraudulent or unlawful conduct.
Where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unauthorised payment activity or unlawful use of our services, we may:
- Request additional information reasonably necessary to verify an order.
- Delay acceptance or dispatch while undertaking reasonable checks.
- Decline an order before acceptance.
- Restrict relevant website functionality.
- Refer suspected unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities where lawful.
Any action will be proportionate to the circumstances and consistent with applicable law.
Where an accepted order is affected, we will preserve the customer's legal rights, including any applicable refund entitlement.
22. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve customer concerns fairly, reasonably and promptly.
If you have a complaint regarding a product, order, refund, delivery or any other aspect of our service, please contact us through our website or customer service email.
Please provide sufficient information to help us investigate the concern.
We will assess complaints on their merits and provide an appropriate response within a reasonable timeframe.
Where a complaint cannot be resolved directly, customers may seek assistance from:
- NSW Fair Trading.
- The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, where appropriate.
- Another relevant regulatory or consumer protection body.
- A court or tribunal with jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms requires customers to submit disputes to compulsory overseas arbitration or prevents customers from exercising lawful rights to seek judicial or regulatory remedies.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our business, services, website operations or applicable laws.
We will publish the current version on our website with its effective date.
Changes generally apply to orders placed after the updated Terms take effect.
We will not retrospectively impose materially disadvantageous changes on an existing accepted purchase without the customer's agreement, except where required by law.
Where appropriate, we may notify affected customers of material changes.
Customers should review the current Terms before making a new purchase.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia.
The parties may bring proceedings before a court or tribunal with jurisdiction over the dispute.
Nothing in this section excludes the operation of any mandatory consumer protection laws or restricts a customer's right to bring proceedings in an appropriate jurisdiction.
25. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is determined by a court or tribunal with jurisdiction to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be ineffective to the extent required by law.
The remaining provisions will continue to operate where they are capable of doing so lawfully.
26. Entire Agreement and Related Policies
These Terms, together with any applicable policies expressly incorporated into a purchase agreement, form part of the agreement between JustGoodKit and the customer.
Related policies may include:
- Returns and Refunds Policy.
- Shipping and Delivery Policy.
- Privacy Policy.
- Any clearly disclosed product-specific conditions.
If there is an inconsistency between these Terms and a mandatory requirement of Australian law, the mandatory legal requirement prevails.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for misleading or deceptive conduct or otherwise removes protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
