This Tactical Sleeping Bag by Valhalla (0 Degrees C) is a compact design, reinforced foot and waterproof base with arm ports to keep warm while working. Called the "Night Walker 2" you can perform tasks like gun picket, stand to in your pit, eat, write orders and organise kit all done without losing the built-up warmth within the bag, reducing core temperature.
We use heavy duty YKK zip to allow the feet to be removed from the bag allowing movement without completely exiting the bag which would result in the loss of body heat.
